Colic?

Yesterday evening we bought Josiah some Colic Calm medicine. He was just screaming and crying and grunting. His little stomach was gurgling and he was farting. It seemed to hurt him something awful. We gave him the medicine, and not long after he was a happy baby again. I also found a bottle in the house that was slower than the Playtex Nurser medium and faster than it's slow. So Josiah used that bottle, took colic medicine, drank 4 ounces of milk, and slept 2-3 hours at a time all night long. Bryan actually got some sleep during his night shift. In the morning, when he was awake at 8 after his bottle, he was still happy. It is nice to not have a baby in pain. Josiah and I kept Laura company as she waits for their little one to send her into labor. We took her dog, Ada, for a walk. On the walk we meet a man who found it rather wonderful that I had a 1 month old and Laura was due any day. He commented about how plans would have never allowed this but chance did it. I would say it was God rather than chance! After we went home, had a snack, fed Josiah, we went to Thiftway to make Nike an Easter basket. Josiah did great in the Moby with all the walking. Laura did great and hardly seemed tired. Laura fed Josiah when we got back to the house. It was nice to just relax together and hang out unplanned. It was a lot like we used to do back before college. Well except I have a baby and she will very soon. Bryan's allergies were exceptionally bad when he woke up at 4. I decided we should just spend the evening at home. It's been nice to just hang out on the couch relaxing.
