Josiah rolled over today! I had put him in his belly on his mattress to work on his push ups. I was using a black and white card of a snake to see if I could get him to turn his head this way and that. He did, and then he turned so far that he rolled back onto his back. Bryan was there and got to see it too, but we didn't secede in videoing it or getting him to repeat it so we could record it. When we put him back on his belly to try he just cried.

Josiah has been smiling socially for a week now (since April 8th). He smiles when we come into his room to get him because he's crying. He smiles when we make funny noises. He even seems to respond a little to ticketing.

Josiah seems to love standing on his legs. He used to do it only for a second or two, but now he can do it for about 30 seconds.
Josiah holds his head up well enough to sit in the Bumpo and we even tried a jumper thing.

We don't have to guard his head at all when we hold him over the shoulder.

Josiah also coos and makes more noises now. He's really fun to imitate. So far, my favorite is when he is really angry it sounds like he says mom, all long and drawn out but it's pretty clear.
