Church this morning was a wonderful reminder that as much as we try, if we are honest we aren't really loving God with ALL our heart, soul, mind and strength, and frequently just assume we are and try to bypass that and focus on how to better love others. Not that it's bad to try to be better about loving others, but we should be putting a whole lot more effort into loving God than we do.

Josiah and I went on a nature walk with Granny Smith and we brought Grammy with us. (Grampy went target shooting with Papa.) It was a beautiful day at the wild life refuge. We saw many birds, including 2 bald eagles with a young one in the nest that I couldn't see.
Josiah has enough neck control now that he did really well in the Beco carrier facing outward. He stayed awake more and looked all around. He was smiling at people and cooing and even looking around at the nearby plants and trees. I really hope that he will love being outdoors as much as I do!
